Jim Curtis O'Sensei has been training in various martial arts including boxing, wrestling, karate, jiujitsu and marine hand to hand since 1959. 

 

He has a BA Degree in Education from Central Washington University in

Ellensburg, Washington and is also a decorated Marine Corps Combat 

Veteran having served in the Vietnam War as a machine gunner with Mike Company 3/1 in 1969 and 1970.

 

He was awarded the rank of 10th Degree Master by Phil Porter O'Sensei of the United States Martial Arts Association and Gary Alexander O'Sensei of the International Association Of Martial  Artist.

 

He is also the Founder and President of the North American Self-Defense Association which is currently headquartered in North Bend, Washington.
